Tobias Hitsch was born in Switzerland in 1975 and has been working as a photographer since 1998.
Works exhibited and published include his first endeavour as a young photographer about a milkmaid's reclusive life in the Austrian Alps, a documentation about the impact of politics on the landscape and life around the Dead Sea and his award-winning work from Gaza, where he was based for six months.
Tobias has lived in Cairo, Bern, London, New York and Vienna and has worked across Europe, in the Middle East, Bolivia, China, India, Kashmir and Tibet.
